Akihiko is Hiroki's childhood friend and first love. Their childhood stories are collected under the title, "Junjou Minimum."

The first hurdle for Egoist to overcome: Hiroki moving on from Akihiko and for Nowaki to be noticed. How does one separate another's over a decade's worth of longing? For Nowaki, the answer is to create a situation that leaves no room for rejection. He pursues Hiroki by keeping his apartment keys with the ransom of tutoring lessons
